Thank you Nic Harcourt. I heard this song on KCRW this morning and made sure to write it down. Now that I’m looking further into the Little Jackie world, I’m falling in love. “The World Should Revolve Around Me” is not only a bold statement, it’s another possible hit for this duo. A duo which is half Imani Coppola of “Legend of a Cowgirl” fame. Their album will come out on S-Curve records on July 8th… just in time to be the soundtrack to the summer.

Saw Little Jackie on Conan O’Brien last night. I was sleeping and the sound
woke me up. I had to sit up and listen to them jam “The World Should Revolve Around Me”. It was even better live. Thanks for the DL.

I remembered Ms. Copppla from the late nineties hit “Legend of a cow girl”, and now she has finally released another project. It is more mature and down right funny. specifically the song “Black Barbie.” I wish her continued success.

this is somehting fresh & new,but also something that someone can relate to in their own way. i like the songs iv heard from little jackie,so far, and hope to keep hearing more.i like this song like i like black barbie!
