I really don’t know why this band gets so much flack. Whenever I tell people that I love Phantom Planet, I get the weirdest look. I think that O.C. theme song thing didn’t help much, but obviously nobody has seen them live! And have you listened to their self titled album? Kind of hard to call that pop; It is rock to the core. Well, they’ve now made an album that is the best of both worlds. And here we have the first single. I prefer them when they are rocking, but I still like this pop tinged tune
