6:25 pm - Yael Naim is so charming and has such a great voice. So great that you don’t care when she’s singing in another language.

6:10 pm - The line for Santogold was suuuuper long. So we left. Then we took a pedicab 1 block. We’ve reached a new low here at sxsw.

5:35 pm - What do you think just happened? That I walked up to hear the last 2 notes of Lykke Li’s song and then hear her say “thank you, goodbye”? Then yes. You’re correct. I don’t wanna talk about it.

5:30 pm - Just caught wind of Blitzen Trapper while walking by their tent for a minute. They sound very nice.

5:10 pm - Watching the Republic Tigers for a couple songs. They sound different than I expected. A little more rock and a little less ethereal. Better down this drink fast b/c Lykke Li should be on soon, then I have Sam Champion at 5:30…

4:45 pm - Left Club De Ville b/c Lykke Li is still nowhere to be found (maybe she doesn’t exist. And I’m now standing outside Mohawk watchingthe weirdest show I’ve ever seen - Peelander Z. I think it’s a Japanese band b/c that’s what it sounds like they’re singing in…They’re all dressed in a color, just like power rangers and they’re climbing all over the place. But there’s a huge line and tons of people are singing along. I don’t get it.

4:20 pm - Yay! Club De Ville is running late so I get to watch the end of the White Rabbits while I wait for Lykke Li. I love this band!

3:40 pm - Just got into see Devotchka. I love this band. They sound so beautiful

1:55 pm - Ok, Liam Finn is making up a song on the spot because he decided he wanted to do a “tribal chant”. It sounds awesome and all the camera people just swarmed the place. YouTube it tomorrow!

1:35 pm - It’s the last day of SXSW tear… But I’m starting it off with another Liam Finn performance. They had some problems with the sound at the Mohawk show and this one souns much better. I’m still extremely impressed with this guy…
