SXSW Day Four - Saturday (part 2)

12:10 am - Phantom Planet rules (seriously, don’t judge til you’ve seen them live) and Spinto Band drools.

10:25 pm - The sound guy at The Wave just majorly f’d up Low vs. Diamond’s set. Luckily they saved it. Nice job boys.

9:10 pm - Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong sound very british. That’s all I got for ya…

7:10 pm - The Virgins are playing a song with a nice little groove to it. Something about a girl who’s expensive I think. Whatever it’s about I like it. Now they’re on to a Strokes type of song. Very nice indeed.

6:40 pm - Ok, now Yael Naim’s covering Britney Spears’ “Toxic” and it sounds like her original. This girl just got added to my favorite shows of SXSW.

Holy Cow I can’t believe how busy you’ve been down there! It sounds amazing. Oh and Yeal Naim’s cover of Toxic? Definitely sounds like something up my ally. Can’t wait to hear all about it :)

So you did make it to Phantom Planet Sat. night! Wish your phone was workin’ then we could have met up for a quick goodbye. I rushed to see British Sea Power at the end of the night and there was a line so I went back to the Wave and saw The Virgins cuz you said they were good. You were right I liked them!
