1:40 am - N.E.R.D. has a lot of people on stage. And I just got my second wind. Maybe I need to go back and find that party train

10:50 pm - There’s a party train on 6th street complete with laptop beats. Woooo!

10:30 pm - “Electric Feel” is the shit and will be forever.

10:05 pm - MGMT has been the talk of the town after their Playboy party performance last night. Now they’re playing to a packed Stubb’s and sound amazing!

8:10 pm - One of the guitarists in Green River Ordinance looks EXACTLY like Jason Mraz. Maybe it is him, if Mraz secretly decided to join a nice little pop rock band. But since I know he’s working on promoting his new album, that’s probably not the case.

7:30 pm - Wow. This girl can sing. Duffy is killing it. She sounds amazing. Maybe even better than the record.

6:55 pm - Yay! I got in! Missed The Stills, but I get to see my new best friend Duffy. Because of all the issues I didn’t get to tell you guys the story. I met her at Stubb’s Wed. and said a quick hello. Then ran into her in the bathroom and we exchanged greetings again. Then last night I walked with her for about 3 blocks and told her my sob story of my lost ID. She said I looked too sweet and should back comb my hair, wear some sunglasses (or as she called them, “sunnies”) and a leather jacket and pretend I’m in a band to get into shows. Luckily I didn’t need to try that.
