Apparently I’ve gone covers happy. I’m not sure if it’s a bad sign that everyone is just playing everyone else’s songs now (if CD sales haven’t hit rock bottom yet, this may be a sign that it’s just around the corner), but I’m loving these nonetheless. I think when you love a song, it’s always fun to hear a different take on it. This has been spinning on KCRW as of late and I was pleasantly surprised to hear someone covering Amy Winehouse. God knows she’s not singing her own songs right now… Thanks Arctic Monkeys for stepping up to bat
