I really wish there was a way for me to get this song to you guys… There’s only one video on youtube of a live performance with TERRIBLE sound quality. Hype machine is all busted and shut down as they prep for the new site. The MySpace doesn’t have it up. Guess you will just have to be old fashioned and buy the CD I’m kidding! Buy everything people, no stealing!

I heard this song back when I saw Sea Wolf play the Echo over the summer. It’s about 10 times better live (as is most of his stuff) and got me really excited for the new album. As for the rest of the album, I really like “Winter Windows” which I heard when he opened for Air. Also much better live. And also prepped my excitement for the full length release. The opening/title track “Leaves In The River” is gorgeous and highlights his storytelling (I may have a soft spot for it since the story takes place on Halloween). “Black Dirt” was one of my fave songs by Sea Wolf before this album came out… I’m so glad it made it on the record and I really hope it’s the next single. Although I’ve already been hearing “Middle Distance Runner” on the radio a lot… which was another unreleased track I had before this album dropped. I mean, I could go on and on… I really do love this album. And I HIGHLY suggest seeing him live… it adds SO much to the music.
