Wow. I had a near Dave experience with this show. I have been waiting to hear this song at every Mute Math show I’ve been to. People would always scream for it and they’d never play it. Well that all changed last night at the Avalon. And it was glorious. Until I got sprayed with Silly String, but what can ya do? The band must have given the fans along the balcony railing cans of the stuff, because throughout the last 3 songs or so (while they gave them the ammunition, they apparently failed to give them concise directions) the entire crowd looked like a scene from the “Typical” video… that was the point slow ones. Such a great show. I really shouldn’t have to hype these guys anymore, but sadly they’re facing a lack of exposure and really need a boost in the sales department. Their live show is not hurting any of that…
