I don’t know too much about this guy. My only experience with him was sitting in the shade tent at Coachella about 2 seconds away from passing out, but feeling revived when some great hip hop started flowing off the main stage. He sounded great! So I picked up the new album and I’m really enjoying this song:
Aside from the fact that I wish people would make videos faster so I wouldn’t have to post these lame YouTube photo slide shows, I’m very happy that hip hop week is complete! I barely made it… it’s just not my forte. We’ll have to get my brother Collin in here to guest post one day. He’s amazing with this genre. Best examples: He found Jay-Z’s “Big Pimpin” and had to call it island flute song because we didn’t even know the title yet. AND he had Kanye’s “Through The Wire” from a mix tape literally years before anyone knew who he was. I keep trying to convince him to put his talents to use in the industry, but he has other things in mind. Maybe he’ll just be my little helper
