Wow. Such a good concert. I was tired of all the nay-sayers after the Staples show, and either the band pulled themselves out of a funk or people were being overly critical because they were on at Dodger Stadium on Saturday. Opened with “Message In A Bottle” and tore through all the hits. Everyone was dancing and singing and the place was packed. The coolest part for me was how the band has such a distinct sound and you could hear all the bands that were influenced by them.

And don’t forget the Foo Fighters who opened the show… “Everlong” (complete with the concert staple: annoying girl behind you singing all the words… I think she may be from Michigan as well judging by her pronunciation of everlong)

Wish my seats would have been closer (I bought them the second they went on sale and was way up in the nosebleeds), but it was still awesome. Yeah, they didn’t talk between songs and yeah, they weren’t acting like best friends, but the music (what matters most) was perfect. If you don’t live in LA, catch them while you can:
