LOVE this song right now. Please listen to it super loud for full effect. I keep finding myself playing this song every morning. And why not? The lyrics are great: “scratch your name into the fabric of this world before you go.” As for the music, I’m mostly in love with that huge riff at the beginning. Inner rockstar, baby. I just convinced myself to buy tickets to their show at The Troubadour on June 15th. Which is saying a lot since I have at least one show everyday June 7-16 that I want to go to. I already have tix for shows on the 9th, 10th, and now 15th… All you other bands better fight hard on my ipod to get my attention this weekend. I will be a poor woman for the first half of June
Anyways, I know this band gets shit for sounding like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but I don’t see it. Maybe b/c I hate the YYYs. Oh well, get past it, this is some great music…

I think I like the UK version better. More colorful

Noisettes - Don’t Give Up (mp3)
Noisettes - Count of Monte Cristo (mp3) (Another song off the album that I like, a lil more low key than the other two)
