They did it. I thought they’d blow it. After frickin 5 years, they finally put out new material and it’s actually good! No sophomore slump for these guys? Guess we’ll find out May 22nd…

I have a soft spot for this band b/c they may be my greatest pick ever. I was a fan right when Songs About Jane came out on Octone. Sat on them for like 2 years, watched them open for various people like Mraz and Mayer, and then they blew up. Very rarely does a band like this come along that appeals to so many people. Can’t wait to see what their first week numbers are…
