    as a serious fan of timbaland, i am not discouraged at all by these “revelations.” he could have just heard it in a club once and somewhere deep in his brain, he stored it until one day, it resurfaced as an original thought.

    as a writer, this happens to me all the time. i will come up with a brilliant phrase or concept only to find out that i had read or heard the phrase somewhere else several years before. imagine my surprise.
