Yeah, I’m goin with the explicit title. I was not at all excited for the new Snoop album. I don’t know, he just usually doesn’t do it for me. I’m not gonna lie… he kind of scares me (which is why there is no picture for this post). Anyway, I heard this song randomly on MTV (which is weird b/c I never watch MTV anymore) when they premiered the video. For some unexplainable reason, I really like it. His performance on the AMAs last night was nothing spectacular, but the same can be said for almost every performance. I turned them on late and only half watched… the only ones I liked were Jay-Z and John Mayer (Pussycat Dolls? Nelly Furtado? Jamie Foxx?… all sounded TERRIBLE). The awards weren’t much better. But I mean, they’re based on radio and sales figures. Not talent. And it shows. I guess, what was I expecting? The Grammy’s even suck now - Evanesence winning Best New Artist over Kanye? I know he can be crazy, but that time he was right. And that led to me being SUPER skeptical of my favorite category ever since. I almost want to go out on a limb and call my picks for what WILL be nominated, not what should. I’m calling Panic, Fall Out Boy, Pussycat Dolls, KT Tunstall (was she this year?), and Ne-Yo/Chris Brown. I may be forgetting some, but you get the general idea. Oh my gosh, I’m so off on a tangent. Whatevs, I’m going to Jay-Z AND the Rolling Stones tonight! Yayyyyyy. And I’m off…
