I think this song and “So Damn Lucky” are SO frickin’ beautiful. I couldn’t find a video of SDL, so you’re getting this one I saw Dave and Tim for the first time EVER last night! Well, not counting Dave and Friends. That’s pretty rare for a girl who’s been to 27 DMB shows. They don’t play super often and the times the have, I’ve had conflicts or lived in a different part of the country. Overall, it was nice. I found myself missing Carter on certain parts and imagining how great some of the parts sounded full band, but it was nice to have a chill evening with lots of Davespeak (crazy Dave talk). The only bad part was the INSANELY drunk girl behind us. Usually everyone sits at D&T shows and takes in the music. This girl was standing, yelling at everyone else for not standing, yelling things like “get up and dance Santa Barbara,” proceeding to call everyone sitting “people with no souls” and screaming WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO every 2 minutes. Once she left, everyone around her started enjoying the show a lot more Too bad it wasn’t until the encore. All in all it was a nice little show.

Also, for those of you who follow my obsession… People were all screaming for “Halloween” since it’s Halloween weekend. Dave said he couldn’t remember the words to the 2nd verse and would play it tomorrow… aka the show at the Wiltern in LA tonight. Too bad tix were $100 a piece and only available to AMEX Aadvantage card members or I may be realizing part of the dream tonight! I have faith I’ll hear it full band someday though
