"Bullet" by Rhymefest feat. Citizen Cope

I don’t really like the original version of this song. In fact the song made me pass on the whole Citizen Cope album. I’ve since come around (I will forever be obsessed with “Holdin’ On”), but this version is still much better. I’ve heard TONS of buzz on Rhymefest, a Kanye protege. I’m liking the whole album so far… which is rare for me with hip-hop albums. I also recommend: “Fever,” “Devil’s Pie,” “Sister” (again, improves - or is at least equal with - the sample: “Unbreakable” by Alicia Keys… such a good beat). Surprisingly, I’m not really a huge fan of either of the tracks featuring Kanye… but I think “Brand New” is the next single. All in all, I’m really impressed with this debut. It gives me hope that all the crap that passes for hip-hop is not here to stay…
