Ok, now I know what this looks like. A favor for my boyfriend. But I promise it’s not. Chris’s friend Dawaun is a producer and does work with T.I., Dr. Dre, Busta Rhymes and a bunch of other people. He also is in this group called the GodBody. Chris told me about him and showed me their MySpace. Now, Chris tells me a lot of music that I don’t exactly feel. Nothing against the bands or the people who like them, just some stuff clicks with me and some stuff doesn’t. Ask him what I’ve said about “his bands” that he works with and you’ll see that this is pretty much a rare occurrence. I’ve heard they have label attention and whatnot… The sample on this song is just amazing. It makes the song for me. So go listen and see what y’all think.
p.s. Sometimes I hate the fact that I can’t lie. I totally could have just not told you guys that this is Chris’s friend and I would have looked like the stellar A&R star I was born to be
