Ok, you guys know how obsessed I am with this band. I could probably post a different song of theirs everyday. But I refrain myself from doing so, and only post when it’s really important. Like a new song was played… Or they made a crazy announcement… Or, because… I’M GOING TO THE GORGE!!! Yes, that is right my friends. I will be making my 3rd consecutive appearance at heaven’s amphitheater. This is one of my favorite places in the world. For those of you who don’t know, The Gorge is a venue in Washington, about 3 hours outside of Seattle, that is in the middle of a gorge (hence the name). Behind the stage there is a cliff and a river and just tons of beautiful nature. DMB plays there every year and it’s pretty much Mecca for the obsessed fans. You camp out next to the venue all weekend (they play 3 shows) and just hang out with lots of Dave fans, relax, listen to good music - it’s an all-around GREAT time. At the beginning of the summer I was really depressed because I was only going to 2 DMB shows (I’ve been to 6 for the past 2 summers). Now, I’m going to 6! Apparently 6 is the magic number, not 3. Ok, that was lame… But I added a San Diego show as well as 3 Gorge shows to my original 2: LA and Irvine. I will be one happy camper (No pun intended… Geez, the Gorge makes me slap-happy) after all of my shows this summer. Anyone who will be at any of my shows, let me know and we can hang out Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that Chris comes through with a meet and greet or all access pass (AND can make it to the Gorge). And yes Christopher, now that it’s in Music Ramen, the pressure is on Oh, and I almost forgot to explain the song. This is the song that I am always PRAYING to hear live. If I do ever hear it, I will pretty much go crazy. There may be tears of joy. And now, feel free to make fun… the rest of you just don’t understand. Ryg… cross your fingers, this may be our year for Halloween. If not, we still have like 50 more years to hear it I’m not letting the band retire until I die.
