"Hospital Beds" by Cold War Kids

God bless MySpace. In my little music-obsessed notebook, I’ve written down Cold War Kids to check out at least 3 times. I checked iTunes, but no luck. I searched in Amoeba, nada. So it finally dawned on me to check their MySpace. And I was not disappointed. They have a really fresh sound that does a great job of balancing rock and indie styles, with a little bit of pop thrown in for good measure (or radio play). I can see them being one of those bands that is embraced by a lot of different types of people. Now if only they had more than 2 songs on their MySpace! At least they have a few tracks for download on their website.
