See! I promised and it’s here. Now I’m not gonna front like I gave a good hard listen to the entire CD… I listened… but not enough. I’m gonna have a music hermit weekend and listen to a whoooole bunch of stuff, one of which is Keane. But I can still post this with confidence because it jumped out at me like crazy. It almost reminds me of the Marc Broussard CD - the first track just kills everything else. “Home” was so frickin good it gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. And then the rest of the CD pretty much all sounded the same. From what I can tell so far, “Atlantic” is the super standout track and it separates itself from the rest. Not in the extreme way that “Home” did, but still.
