I was in love with her a while back - so much so, that I paid extra to buy her CD online when it was released in the UK. She’s signed to Capitol, so I could have just waited until it came out in the US to get it for free. That should tell you something about how good it is. The only reason I haven’t put her in here sooner is because I listened to the album non-stop for about the first month I had it and then had to take a little break from it. I don’t think it’s out in the US yet, but correct me if I’m wrong. I think the first single is “Put Your Records On,” a fun little summer track, but I know there was some consideration towards “Like a Star,” which was the song that hooked me in the first place (those of you that have seen my MySpace page may remember that this was the song on there for a while). I’ve heard Corinne described as a cross between Nora Jones and Sade. All I know is that she’s really talented and you guys should give her a listen. Also recommended: “Enchantment” and “Til It Happens To You” (and the rest of the album for that matter…)
