"Cash Machine" by Hard-Fi

I’ve heard this band categorized as punk a few times… Either I’m starting to like punk music (doubtful) or this band is not punk. I could see some punk influences, but not full-blown categorization. To be honest, I haven’t really listened to the rest of the CD enough to comment… it all sounds good so far, but I can’t pick out any specifics yet - other than this song that is great. Buuut I could see it becoming annoying if it starts getting played out. It hasn’t yet so I’m enjoying it while I can They were on the line-up at Coachella but had to back out after the singer got some throat thing. Let me know what y’all think… Here’s their MySpace.
